Las Vegas Caesar's Palace's Hot Nightclub OMNIA Requests an Exciting Sound

OMNIA Las Vegas Nightclub, located within Caesar's Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, is a 75,000 square-foot tri-level nightspot. Combining classic design with modern technology, guests can experience a unique interactive nightlife with a 22,000-pound kinetic chandelier and world-class service. Music from world-renowned DJs fills the club as VIP tables line the sumptuous space for a night of dancing, bottle service, and views of the Las Vegas Strip.

Frank Murray, Chris Kmiec, Len Bolger, and Mags Morton from Audiotek of Dublin, Ireland, collaborated with James Algate, the Vice President of Music from the Hakkasan Group, to craft the technical design and installation of the audio, video, and lighting systems for OMNIA. This project necessitated a state-of-the-art sound system that was open to the use of any modern, advanced product, whether it was pricey or not.

At Omnia ultra-lounge's Main Club, the dance floor is surrounded by a quad of 12 ARCS II constant curvature speakers, situated beneath a 65-foot domed ceiling and a ten-ton "chandelier" of kinetic lighting and projection. Low-end sounds are handled by a cluster of twelve SB28 dual-18-inch subwoofers that are arranged below the stage. For the DJs' reference, two stacks, each with three Kara WST line source modules and two SB18 subs, are situated on stage to provide foldback.

At the mezzanine and under-balcony areas, twenty-six 12XTi coaxial speaker cabinets ensure complete, even coverage across the 3,500 capacity room. Additionally, six ARCS Wide curvature speakers and four SB18 single-18-inch subs provide extra reinforcement. All of this is powered by nine LA8 and eight LA4X controllers, timed to the main system at the rear bar.

The team attained results that surpassed their highest anticipations, with the L-Acoustics equipment providing a remarkable display every evening for the DJs and clubgoers. All those present at the Hakkasan Group's venue – from the clubbers to the entertainers and the management – gave an overwhelmingly positive reaction.
