When we talk about regular speakers ad conventional loudspeakers, we are talking about the devices which produce sound by converting an electrical signal into sound. The difference between them is that a loudspeaker presents a speaker which can produce a loud sound. When it comes to audio, watts are used to measure the power-handling capabilities of speakers and the power-output capability of amplifiers. In general, conventional loudspeakers are devices that change electrical signals into sounds loud enough to be heard at a distance.
