This state-of-the-art sports and entertainment complex, complete with a high-end commercial district and five-star hotel, was created out of the ruins of the Dynamo Stadium, located just four blocks away from the Kremlin in Moscow's historical Petrovsky park. The project had a huge investment from the Russian government, who wanted to make the area more appealing to its 14 million residents. One of the most iconic football stadiums in Europe, the Allianz Arena in Munich, opened its doors in 2005. Its impressive features include a membrane roof made of nearly 3000 translucent air-filled cushions, which is the first stadium to boast an entire color-changing exterior. When we talk about regular speakers ad conventional loudspeakers, we are talking about the devices which produce sound by converting an electrical signal into sound. The signal is a function that conveys information about a phenomenon. Any quantity that can vary over space or time can be used as a signal to share messages between observers. Audio amplifiers, devices that are used to increase the power, current, or voltage of a signal, are essential to any hi-fi system. They are usually used in electronic devices, such as television and radio receivers, music and audio equipment in, for example, theatrical and concert sound reinforcement systems, and domestic systems such as a stereo or home-theatre system and computers to increase the amplitude of a signal. Power amplifiers are available in standalone units, which are used by hi-fi audio enthusiasts and designers of public address systems (PA systems) and sound reinforcement systems.
